These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern access to and use of the Backtrex platform, operated by Stemya Tech (SIREN 881 895 478). By using Backtrex, you agree to these terms in full.
Service Description
Backtrex is an online trading strategy backtesting platform. It allows users to visually create strategies, test them on historical data, and export the corresponding code. The service is provided "as is" and does not constitute investment advice in any way.
Access to Service
Access to the service requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Service usage is subject to the limits of your plan (Free, Pro, or Max).
Usage Conditions
You agree to:
- Use the service for its intended purpose (strategy backtesting)
- Not attempt to circumvent your subscription plan limits
- Not use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
- Not reproduce, decompile, or create derivative works of the service
- Not intentionally overload the infrastructure
Intellectual Property
The Backtrex platform, its source code, design, algorithms, and content are the exclusive property of Stemya Tech. Strategies you create belong to you. However, exported code (Pine Script, MQL5) is generated by our proprietary algorithms.
Limitation of Liability
Backtrex shall not be held liable for:
- Financial losses resulting from trading decisions based on backtest results
- Temporary service unavailability due to maintenance or force majeure
- Absolute accuracy of historical data provided by third parties
- Discrepancies between backtest results and actual market performance
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Stemya Tech reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these ToS, with prior notification except in emergencies.
Modifications
Stemya Tech reserves the right to modify these ToS. Users will be notified of any significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified ToS.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
