Like many retail traders, Matthieu spent years manually testing strategies. Hours scrolling through charts, noting entries and exits in spreadsheets, second-guessing every parameter. The process was slow, repetitive, and discouraging.
Backtesting tools existed, but they all required coding, Pine Script, Python, MQL. For a visual trader who thinks in charts, not lines of code, it was an insurmountable wall.
It was from this frustration that the idea for Backtrex was born: a tool that would let any trader validate their strategies visually, in minutes instead of weeks.
